The film is adapted from the novel by Dan Brown. It’s the third part of the saga started with "The Da Vinci Code" and continued with "Angels & Demons". At the center of the film the Harvard professor Robert Langdon, played once again by Tom Hanks. This time he's on the trail of clues related to the great poet Dante. He wakes up with amnesia in Florence. He relies on the doctor Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones) to retrieve his memories. Struggling with a new enemy, the secret organization Consortium, must foil a deadly plot. For this gives life to a real race against the clock that leads him to cross several countries (Florence, Venice, Budapest, Istanbul)
