Vicenza, with its province rich of interesting locations is a great movie set, and since the '50s many directors decided to shoot there their films: among others, the province of Vicenza was chosen by director Ettore Scola for his "The Commissioner" Pepe, with Ugo Tognazzi; by Luchino Visconti, who shot at Villa Godi Malinverni in Lugo Vicentino the film Senso, and by Alberto Sordi for his "The common sense of decency."
