Call me with your name, the director from Palermo brings to the big screen the adaptation of the homonymous book by André Chiman.

The film is the adaptation for the big screen of the novel by André Aciman, published in Italy in 2008.

It tells the story of 17 year old Elio (Timothée Chalamet) a musician who, in the summer of 1983, will fall in love with the American student Oliver (Armie Hammer), with whom he will live unforgettable moments.

The Palermitan Luca Guadagnino is conquering the critics and the public with "Call me with your name" ("Call Me By Your Name").

Extraordinary love story that will land in our rooms starting next January 25th.

The screenplay was written by James Ivory while the music is by Sufjan Stevens.

The film was premiered last January at the Sundance Film Festival, then at the Berlin Film Festival, in the Panorama section and also at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it ranked third.

A few days ago, he was nominated for 3 Golden Globes (Best Drama, Best Actor in a Drama by Timothée Chalamet and Best Supporting Actor by Armie Hammer).

Locations

The shooting took place mainly in the province of Cremona, then in the municipalities of Moscazzano, Montodine, Pandino and Crema.

Some scenes have been shot at the Cascate del Serio in the municipality of Valbondione, in Bergamo and at the Grotte di Catullo di Sirmione.
