Another great recognition for the extraordinary beauty of the Alpine landscapes of the Valle d'Aosta.

Gressoney, or more precisely the two towns of Gressoney-La-Trinité and Gressoney-Saint-Jean which effectively form a unique cultural and territorial entity, has been chosen as the location for the new Apple commercial for Christmas, beating the competition of Switzerland .

The spot lasts two minutes and it cost two million euro. Seventy people have been working in the filming in early November for four days.

It is a beautiful and delicate video, in which technology and natural environment, innovation and tradition, virtual relationships and warmth of the physical relationships merge into a strong effective communication product.

The protagonist of the spot is Frankenstein, who lives in a chalet. Here downloads the sound of a music box on his iPhone and receives the products ordered online.

Then he goes into the village square where many families with their children gathered around a lit christmas tree.

He tries to gain acceptance. Lights the colored bulbs and intones the song of Parry Como "There's No Place Like Home for Holidays". But his efforts did not seem to be successful. However, intervenes a little girl, with her beautiful fresh naivete. She begins to sing the song and slowly all begin to sing like her. The whole square is united, beyond all differences, in a great love song.

"Open your heart to each one" it is the final message that stands in the background of the square.

Frankenstein is played by Brad Garrett. The actor is known among other things for playing Robert Barone on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and Eddie in "Til Death" - All my life, two US sitcoms . He also won three Emmy Awards.

The shoot were directed by Lance Acord, director of photography on numerous films, including the award-winning Lost in Translation by Sofia Coppola and Keith "K. K." Barrett, production designer known for his collaboration with Spike Jonze and Sofia Coppola.
