Caravaggio - The soul and the blood, 19, 20 and 21 February will arrive in Italian cinemas. Film that tells the life and works of the famous painter through the most important places of his life: Milan, Florence, Rome, Naples and Malta.

Produced by Sky together with Magnitudo Film and Nexo Digital, with the screenplay by Laura Allievi and directed by Jesus Garces Lambert. The film sees Manuel Agnelli as interpreter of the inner voice of the great artist.

Made with the scientific advice of Claudio Strinati, art historian, and the speeches by Mina Gregori, president of the "Foundation of Studies of Art Roberto Longhi". And together with Rossella Vodret, curator of the exhibition "Dentro Caravaggio" at Palazzo Reale in Milan until 28 January 2018, "Caravaggio - The soul and the blood". After the February event, it will arrive on TV on Sky and then be distributed in cinemas worldwide by Nexo Digital. The film obtained the Recognition of the Mibact - Cinema General Direction, the patronage of the City of Milan and was realized in collaboration with the Royal Palace and the Vatican Television Center and with the support of Malta. It was also filmed in Cinemascope 2:40, a format that offers a more 'stretched' picture, very similar to a canvas.
