This is the film: "Il Primo Re" by Matteo Rovere, who, after "Veloce come il vento" (Italian Race) in 2017, shoots a new film with a budget of 8 million euros.

This historical film is produced by Rovere and Greenland by Andrea Paris together with Rai Cinema, in association with the city of Rome and the Belgian Gapbusters.

Indie Sales will manage sales worldwide. The main filming ended in December and 01 will distribute it in Italy in 2018.

History in history

Set before the foundation of Rome in 750 B.C. within which the cast plays roles in pre-Roman Latin.

The film was shot entirely in natural light by cinematographer Daniele Ciprì. The cast is directed by Alessandro Borghi di Suburra.

Il Primo Re

"Made in Italy"

It is an adventure movie in which all the action scenes are shot with real acrobatics. The motivations behind the "pre-Roman Latin" are in order to bring the public within a REAL and unique situation.

They move within the will to establish a real contact with what has happened in the history of the centuries preceding the Roman Empire.

The choice of this context and the settings by the director are also reflected by the will to demonstrate that the Italian industry is capable of excellent results.

Excellent results compared to what are the international standards in special effects for: make-up, acrobatics, special effects, fights and costumes.

The director points out that the TUTTO was created in ITALY!
