Fellini's Casanova and his first forty years

After 40 years, Fellini's Casanova remains a multifaceted masterpiece, continuing to thrill film lovers and scholars, so much so that the Municipality of Rimini, in collaboration with the University of Bologna, has organized a series of events that celebrate the myth .


Fulcrum of the initiatives will be the Day of international studies on October 26, in collaboration with the Chair of Cinema and Cultural industry of critic Roy Menarini.

The conference will deal with the Fellini's work in all its aspects.

With the contribution of experts and researchers, will be analyzed the different languages of Fellini with particular attention to that cinematographic.

On October 31, the 23rd anniversary of the death of Federico Fellini, the Casanova restored will be screened at the Cineteca di Rimini, preceded by an introduction by Gianfranco Angelucci, who worked with Fellini for over twenty years, and Leda Lojodice - unforgettable interpreter the mechanical doll - who will share the historical memory of the film, with anecdotes about Fellini and protagonists, primarily Donald Sutherland.
