FIPILI HORROR FESTIVAL - APRIL 24, 2017

The third day of the festival will continue to propose the various sections of the short film contest. In the Nuovo Teatro delle Commedie (and in the adjoining hall of the Asili Notturni), two important of the Italian cinema of the last 40 years will be hosted: Maurizio Nichetti and Ruggero Deodato. Director Maurizio Nichetti will hold a masterclass entitled "From Roger Rabbit to Volere Volare, years of hybridization in animation and real cinema". In this conversation Nichetti will try to combine with an imaginary red thread all those productions that have cleverly combined the animation to the movie with actors in flesh and bone. In addition to the 16:00 masterclass, the author will also feature the "Volare volare" projection at 18:30. Ruggero Deodato will present at 9.30 pm his latest work "Ballad in Blood", a happy return to the screen of a master of all Italian genre cinema. With his bloody ballad, Deodato returns to the movies as scornfully as possible. "Ballad in Blood" appears to our eyes as a verisimile story but not true, realistic but not realistic. Contemporary Italian cinema will be featured with the important masterclass of Fabio Guaglione & Fabio Resinaro, authors of the recent success "Mine". During the day, "FilmTv Scanners", a section of the festival, introduced by Claudio Bartolini (FilmTv, Nocturno, Bietti), has the point to bring to the attention of the audience films that have never been on the big screen. Do not miss the conversation between the philosopher Giulio Giorello and Fabio Canessa called "Tex - the colors of fear" and the inauguration of the exhibition "La notte livornese del dr. Fulci "by Gianfranco Florio.
