With "Amarcord" Fellini shows the moments of his childhood, of the thirties and its cities. In 1975 the film won the oscar for Best Foreign Film. In 1974 won the David di Donatello for Best Picture and Federico Fellini won for Best Director. In the same year Fellini won the Golden Globe (Italy) for Best Director. Morever the movie won the Silver Ribbon for: Best Original Story, Best Director and Best Screenplay; Ciccio Ingrassia and Pupella Maggio won as Best Supporting Actor and Actress.
