Caina is a brave and rebel girl, who dreams of leaving her village in Sardinia. Her opportunity came when, in the port of a neighboring village, a ship from Corsica arrives. The girl decides to escape by hiding in the hold. Once discovered, however, she will return home, where she will discover the terrible consequences of her escape.
