The Leopard
Il Gattopardo Based on Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa's novel of the same name. In 1860 the Prince Fabrizio of Salina sees the changes caused by the landing of Garibaldi in Sicily, which will lead to the end of the aristocracy. In summer, he moved with his family in the country estate, and there will be born the love between the young Tancredi and Angelica, his daughter. The film won the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival, the David di Donatello for Best Producer and the Silver Ribbon for Best Production Design, Best Costume Design and Best Cinematography Color.
