Mario’s War

La guerra di Mario History of Mario, a nine-year-old who was taken away from the abusive mother by the Juvenile Court and entrusted to a couple formed by Giulia and Sandro. The child finds himself living in a totally different world from the one known until now, divided between the new family and his real mother. The movie won the Critics Award and Best Actress to Valeria Golino at the David di Donatello Awards.
