The Night

La Notte Giovanni and Lidia are a couple in crisis. They decide to spend together a whole day wandering around the city and visiting different places. At dawn, the two finally come to have a sincere conversation where they explain their true feelings. The movie won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, the David di Donatello for Best Director and the Silver Ribbon for Best director, Best Score and Best Actress to Monica Vitti.
