La vita in comune
In Desperata, a small town in southern Italy forgotten by God, the melancholy mayor Filippo Pisanelli feels terribly inadequate to his task. Only the love for poetry and the passion for his literature lessons with the inmates make him glimpse a bit of light in the general depression. In prison he meets Pati, a low-caliber criminal of his own country.
