Anna and her son Valerio live in Rome and have to cope with a family situation characterized by ongoing violence of her husband. Anna manages to find the strength to escape and get away from her husband and from Rome. Anna and her son are welcomed in Turin home of Carla, a theater actress and friend of Anna by long date. The two try to adapt to the new life full of so many difficulties and misunderstandings. Carla and Mathieu, a French restaurateur who lives in the neighborhood, will help them to find the strength to start again. A drama, but also a film of strength and hope.
