A twenty years old girl scarred by a terrible childhood experience, left her city and lives in Rome. A boy falls in love with her, who succeed to force her men's rejection. Determined to help the girl, comes back to the little village near Arezzo, has a mortal car accident. She finds out to be pregnant, decides to keep the baby and tries to obtain the promised job.
