Before the Revolution

Prima della rivoluzione Fabrizio is a young man with so many existential doubts: is deeply shocked by the suicide of a friend; has an affair with her aunt, but does not last long; thinks to join the Italian Communist Party, but the gives up. Finally accepts this inability to realize its political and personal aspirations and opts for marriage with the bourgeois Clelia.
