The fifty year old Giulio, worker, syndicalist and big fan of AC Milan, marries his goddaughter, the seventeen year Vincenzina. During a political demonstration knows the cop Giovanni and, thanks to the passion for football, the two become friends. One day there is news of a death in the family of Vincenzina and Giulio, taking the place of his wife, goes to Campania for the funerals.
