The young Saimir, from a village in Albania, finds the courage to rebel against his father, a trafficker of illegal immigrants who does business with the small farmers of Rome. The movie received the special mention for the Luigi De Laurentiis Award at the Venice Film Festival while Francesco Munzi won the Silver Ribbon for Best New Director.
