BollywoodBetween August and September, two major Indian film productions have choosen as locations two iconic cities as Genoa and Turin as evidence of a growing interest in the Bollywood world for our country.

These days, Inspector Notty K.'s filming began in Genoa. This is a police / sentimental film, produced and interpreted by Jeet, Jeetendra Madnani, Bollywood star and as a female performer by Nusrat Faria, a noted actress from Bangladesh. Jeet interprets the role of an Indian police inspector on mission in Italy, Nusrat Faria, a carabiniere woman.

Genoa is the main location of the film. As Andrea Parodi, location manager and art director says, "the film, in addition to being set in Genoa, will also be localized, and therefore the name of the city will be Genoa for the Indians as well."

The shootings will continue until September 14 in different city locations, from Castello d'Albertis to the Old Town and the Church of San Matteo.

In the past few weeks Turin has been interested in filming Indian film. Particularly as a set of the Chamak movie, a Kannada genre, directed by Narsimhaiah Sunil Kumar, known as Sunni.

The film is starred by Indian film star Ganesh Venkatraman, thirty-six-year-old actor in Mumbai who starred in over twenty feature films, and by the young actress and model Rashmika Mandanna.

Torino has an important role in the plot of the film with its symbols: Via Roma, Piazza Vittorio, Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza IV March, Piazza del Duomo, Toro Stadium, Villa della Regina and the Mole.
