To convince the jury were: the availability shown by the public offices, the variety of spaces available for logistics.

As well as the many architectural elements and styles that have made Merano the choice of international productions and directors.

The event concluded with the hope that Merano will continue to invest in this sector, perfecting the practices adopted so far.

The interventions of local and international experts have also underlined the role of film sets in the territorial promotion and in the economy of very different territories, such as Bavaria and Val Senales.

Petra Rundqvist has brought the example of the Swedish citizen of Ystad, where she is coordinator of the Film Department of the Municipality and of the "New Ystad Studios Visitor Center".

There the Wallander series has generated new investments related both to the shooting, to the film tourism and to the choice of location for other productions.

This is why this should be a common goal.
