Synopsis

Spider in The Web will thus tell the story of Adereth (Ben Kingsley) a secret agent famous and appreciated by all his colleagues.

An agent who by the end of his career is discovering the sale of chemical weapons to a dictator in the Middle East.

Next to him, on the set, we also find another secret agent, Daniel, (Itay Tiran) , who is put on the trail of Adereth.

And of course Monica Bellucci who will take on the role of Angela, a very ambiguous and disturbing woman who will complicate everything.

The young secret agent Daniel will launch himself in this search for the truth.

He will do this by putting himself on the trail of Adereth and the chemical weapons trade.

But there are many deceptions and the plot becomes more and more complicated.

Spider in The Web will be filmed between Belgium and the Netherlands.

To date, little is known except that the plot is taken from a screenplay by Gidon Maron and Emmanuel Nakkache and is inspired by events that actually happened.

The shooting of Eran Riklis's film should start in the spring.

It will probably arrive in theaters in 2019, if not later, but in the meantime we know that it will be presented at the Film Market in Berlin.
