The filming of NON AVER PAURA in Viterbo begins

NOT WARMED, documentary investigation on the state of gender violence in the province of Viterbo.

Project "the missing link"

The film is part of the project 'THE MISSING RING' which fights violence against women in the province of Viterbo.

The investigation / event, inspired by the inter-institutional protocol, of 2016 for the province of Viterbo, much challenged by mayors and social workers of many municipalities for having been decided without consulting the local realities.

The troupe will tour the countries, in the four cardinal points of the province.

The purpose of the tour is to investigate and draw the reality that the women and men of Viterbo live.

Above all, the aim is to verify what awareness and knowledge we have of gender violence.

The film will offer an authentic narration of the situation in the countries.

Investigation

We know that 3, 4% of the women in the province (about 5,000 Italian and foreign women, out of about 160,000), have suffered or are undergoing a form of abuse or direct violence.

The awareness that "scares" is the Viterbo people are convinced that in their countries and among them there is no violence.

At the end of the same inquiries, a document will be drawn up which will be the basis for public meetings.

Meetings that will be held in public environments, in the squares of the same countries of Tuscia.

The purpose of the meetings is naturally to inform and reason with the population about the relationship between man and woman.

These documentaries, projected in the square to reach women who are afraid of exposing themselves, will become a public document that will remain over time.

Meetings and projection will be held in high schools and at the University.

The director Mario Veronica, is touring the municipalities of the province, covering hundreds of kilometers, to explain this matter and the project 'THE MISSING RING'.

All this, aimed at the mayors and the presidents of the pro loco and ask them to gather the associations to involve them as co-protagonists.

The intent of public meetings and film investigations, of the Missing Ring is to break the chain of connivance and ignorance about violence.

This kind of family, which we know lies in the silence and indifference of the accomplice of the villagers, men and women.
