From 2011 to date, 125 productions are been supported by Trentino Film Commission with 83 contributions allocated to training.

And in 2016 they were supported 14 projects (5 feature films, seven documentaries, 1 television series, 1 TV movie).

Of these, three have already completed filming and 11 are in pre-production and will be shot in 2017.

Are some numbers of the budget of TFC, the Trentino Film Commission, that from 6 years promotes the activities of companies in the film and television industry with an eye to economic and employment return and another to promotion of the area.

According to data provided by Giampaolo Pedrotti, president of TFC, predicting induced for productions supported in 2016 it is € 2,697,647 compared with a contribution of € 1,054,050, with a return of 256%.

In 2016 were 333 shooting days realized in Trentino. In Trentino Film Commission database there are 88 companies and 395 professionals.

The film productions represent for the territory and the areas in which they operate an engine of direct and indirect economy that can generate immediate benefits in terms of expenditure during the making of the film, employment and induced in terms of image promotion.

It is a mechanism able to bring stimuli and cultural innovation in interested territory.

For this was born in 2011 Trentino Film Commission, with three main objectives: to stimulate the local economy, promote the area and encourage the creation of quality cultural products.

Trentino Film Commission pursues these goals by providing logistical and financial support to productions, promoting the creation of a network of professionals and local businesses, providing opportunities for training for professionals in the sector.
