The director from Voghera Marco Rosson ends in these days the shots for the movie "Shanda's river" an horror b-movie addressed to the american market that should be published starting from the beginning of 2017. The story, all set in Voghera and surroundings, has as a protagonist an american researcher, came to the city to investigate on Shanda, a witch dead in 1500 in the Staffora's waters. If the outdoor scenes have been shot in Lungavilla paludal park and along the Staffora's banks at Voghera's suburbs, for the indoor shots the troupe used the Voghera's freight terminal and above all Piacenza Street's Zenit hotel. In the cast several non from Pavia actors, but many local background actors. The shots are almost end up, and were taken from 12 to 20 March. The movie, produced by the association "Iria" and by the milanese Giorgio Galbiati, was dramatized by Nicola Pizzi, italian professional who has been working in Usa from a long time and who is ready to write a whole saga set in Voghera.
