From the novel by Valeria Parrella, it tells the story of Maria, a teacher in her forties who has always had full control of her life, who gets pregnant. But the woman has a premature birth and the baby is transferred to intensive care. To Maria is the beginning of days of waits and unexpected events, in and out of the hospital, in a chaotic and eccentric Naples. The movie was awarded with the Pasinetti Prize for Best Film, the Pasinetti Prize for Best Actress, the FEDIC Award, the AIF - For Film Fest Award and the Gianni Astrei Award at the Venice Film Festival. Inaddition, it won the silver Ribbon for Best Editing.
