Carousel after 60 years: a piece of history of Italian customs

At 20:52 of February 3, 1957, at the end of the TV news, it was transmitted the first Carousel.

Since then nothing was ever the same and habits of Italians were changed forever. Carousel for years has marked the rhythm of the evenings of Italian families. Many characters are part of the memory of generations. Many commercials have become an integral part of the national jargon.

The skits gone in the air were more than 30,000. In these scenes they have played the majority of Italian actors and beyond. Great directors competed in this original art form.

We want to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Carousel proposing some of these scenes having as protagonists great actors and directors of our cinema.
