Director Matthew Vaughn chooses Courmayeur and Mont Blanc as a set for his new action movie.
The Hollywood director Matthew Vaughn, who previously directed "X-Men - The Beginning" and produced "Fantastic 4", announced that some of the action scenes in his new movie, including reckless ski descents and pulse-pounding chases, will be shoot on the snowy peaks of Courmayeur and at Skywayil cableway of Mont Blanc. The crew will consist of 130-150 professionals, which will add about fifty local people: in fact, on 24 and 25 March to Courmayeur leisure center will be held the auditions for extras between 18 and 50 years. Candidates must know how to ski and be in the possession of ski outfits. The production came in Courmayeur after the first contacts with the Film Commission Vallée d'Aoste.
