An Italian beginning

First Ciak on January 9th for the new film by Paolo Consorti entitled "Havana Kyrie" starring Franco Nero. Also in the cast is the famous Cuban actor Jorge Perugorria. The film, produced by Vedado Films and Opera Totale will see the Italian shooting from January 9 to 12 in Pesaro and then move to Cuba in February.

Havana Kyrie ... Synopsis

Vittorio, a gruff conductor on the avenue of sunset, receives a job offer at Havana: directing the Kyrie Eleison, a work by Rossini, with the children's choir of Colmenida. He decides to accept the proposal for two reasons: money and because he has been missing music for too long. But the project will put it to the test. Vittorio hates children and believes that the Rossini opera, a real prayer in music, does not fit the cheerful heart of those young Cuban choir members who are too distracted and unruly, he says. Many will be the difficulties that will find in its path, perhaps also because it is his heart to be closed to others. And its aridity will have to do with the thousand colors of Cuba and its many contradictions. An old friend, Hanna, opera singer, will give him new points of view. Yet that city that Vittorio loves and hates together will not make him any discounts. Starting with Isabela, an old flame of twenty years ago, from which Vittorio discovers he has had a child. When Viktor presents himself at his door, everything is destined to change for Vittorio. And the pieces of his life could have a new meaning now. But how to find harmony? Perhaps, precisely in that prayer, the Kyrie Eleison, the answer is hidden.
