“L’età d’oro”, the new film starring Laura Morante was shot entirely in Puglia

"L'età d'oro", the new film starring Laura Morante and shot entirely in Puglia, out in theaters from April 7.

The film, directed by director Emanuela Piovano, is inspired by the homonymous novel written by Francesca Romana Massaro and Silvana Silvestri and was inspired by the figure of Annabella Miscuglio, one of the founders of the Filmstudio and creator in 1976 of Kinomata, the first festival about directing female: Arabella, played by Laura Morante, is a pasionaria of cinema who for years fights to keep alive a movie theater film that she has restored and in which she projects her favorite films. This passion, however, means that the woman clashes with her son, played by Dil Gabriele Dell'Aiera, who does not share her same interests. Among the cast there are also actors Giulio Scarpati, Pietro De Silva, Gigio Alberti, Giselda Volodi and Eugenia Costantini. The filming lasted about five weeks and are fully carried out in Apulia, particularly in the town of Monopoli. The film boasts the support of Apulia Film Commission and Film Commission Torino.
