The shooting of Benedetta Follia, the new film directed and interpreted by Carlo Verdone, began.
The comedy, produced and distributed by Filmauro of Aurelio De Laurentiis & Luigi De Laurentiis, was written for the first time by the director together with Nicola Guaglianone and Menotti.
Release in cinemas is scheduled after Christmas.
Synopsis
He is Guglielmo, a man of mirrored virtue and immaculate Christian record, owner of a religious and high fashion shop for bishops and cardinals. One of those "a wife is forever". If it was not for her wife Lydia (Lucrezia Lante della Rovere), a devoted consort for 25 years, who decided to dump him just on the day of their anniversary, disrupting his world and all his certainty ... But then in his shop comes an unpredictable applicant to shop assistant: Luna (Ilenia Pastorelli), an impudent and overwhelming village girl -willing but equally incapable - and fit to work in a shop of vestments and altar furnishings like a cubist in a convent.
From that day nothing will ever be the same as before: Luna enrols him on "Tinder," the hotest app of the moment, and Guglielmo, single to the defeat, will discover the amazing world of dark appointments and hilarious attempts by women willing to all to find the soul mate. And since reality surpasses imagination, the lives of Guglielmo e Luna will have totally unexpected implications. Because also the ways of love are endless.
