The Murri Affair

Fatti di gente perbene Based on a true incident, it tells the story of a troubled young man who kill's his sister's reactionary and violent husband and is arrested for the murder. The trial starts to turn into more of a prosecution of the defendant's socialist politics than the actual crime itself. It won the David di Donatello for the Best Film and the Silver Ribbon for the Best Costume Design.
