Aeffetto Domino: the moment when everything can change
Since last Thursday in cinemas Aeffetto Domino by Fabio Massa.
Born 32 years ago in Castellammare di Stabia, he began his career in 2002. He played a role in the film Rosa Funzeca by Aurelio Grimaldi, presented at the 59th Venice Film Festival.
Since then A Place in the Sun, fiction, short films and much cinema. Appreciated director of shorts, several times his shorts were selected in the Short Corner of the Cannes Festival. In Aeffetto Domino he is in the role of protagonist, director and screenwriter of the film.
Synopsis
Aeffetto Domino is a film about the life and its transformation. A journey inside and outside himself.
Lorenzo works in an association that deals with teaching disadvantaged children. Among them is Kalid, an African young that soon sends his love for the African continent.
When he is asked to operate in Africa, Lorenzo has no doubt. His new experience though is resized when he is forced to return to Italy because of a late-stage melanoma.
From here a domino effect on his life: his relationship with his family, love, friendship, his choices .......
Says Fabio Massa "I wanted to tell the time in life when everything can change ... .. is not a film about the disease, I want to tell a change, a new stage of life with all that it brings. I like to call it a work about feelings, about love. "
