Two years after the death of the musician, it arrives in cinemas the movie Pino Daniele - The time will remain.

A journey through the music, the concerts and the life of the great Neapolitan artist. With an extraordinary series of images - many of which have never been shown so far - testimonies and musical performances to offer the opportunity to find again on the big screen the music and the artistic development from the 70s to the last concert of this great artist who revolutionized and deeply marked so much of Italian music.

Much of the material used to compose Pino Daniele - The Time will remain is absolutely unedited.

It has been specially selected by the director through a long and patient research. The narrator voice of the film becomes that of the same Pino Daniele, supported by the contribution of Claudio Amendola.

Giorgio Verdelli knew well Pino Daniele. He creates a new portrait of him, telling the intimate and profound relationship with the city of Naples and the ability to be an artist appreciated internationally.

In the film are interwoven archive images, testimonies and contributions. Next to Joe Amoruso, Tony Esposito, Tullio De Piscopo, James Senese, Rino Zurzolo (the musicians of the historical band of "Vaimò" with which Pino Daniele was reunited in 2008) are among the other characters such as Renzo Arbore, Stefano Bollani, Ezio Bosso, Lorenzo Jovanotti Cherubini, Eric Clapton, Clementino, Roberto Colella, Gaetano Daniele, Enzo Decaro, Maurizio De Giovanni, Francesco De Gregori, Giorgia, Enzo Gragnaniello, Peppe Lanzetta, Maldestro, Fiorella Mannoia, Al di Meola, Phil Manzanera, Pat Metheny, Eros Ramazzotti, Massimo Ranieri, Ron, Vasco Rossi, Sandro Ruotolo, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Daniele Sanzone, Lina Sastri, Alessandro Siani, Corrado Sfogli, Massimo Troisi e Fausta Vetere.

Pino Daniele - The Time will remain is a Sudovest production in collaboration with Rai Cinema. It is distributed exclusively to the cinema by Nexo Digital in partnership with media partners Radio Deejay and MYmovies.it.

The film was premiered yesterday, the day of Pino Daniele's birthday, at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

Now it will be released in cinemas from today to Wednesday, March 22.
